Program Summary
This study explores the intersection of nationalism/language learning in the context of an English classroom facilitated in Nogales Sonora along the Mexico/US border. Due to the particular context of this classroom, it upheld nationalist borders and standards with important ramifications for the reinforcement of nationalist borders and hierarchies of privilege.
