The Belief-Mediation Model: A Latent Factor Model of Japanese Intermediate EFL Learners

Program Summary
In this presentation, I propose a latent factor model of non-linguistic factors, named the Belief-Mediation Model, and report whether the model fit the data obtained from self-report questionnaire on affective and cognitive factors and academic performance by using structural equation modeling, and discuss the implications for further research.
