Space and Territoriality in Brazilian Migrants’ Narratives

Program Summary

This work focuses on the symbolic appropriation of foreign space by Brazilian migrants in the USA and in Europe. A Critical Discourse approach was employed to ten narratives of personal experience abroad to detect how migrants evaluate the complex scenarios of their arrival and the relevance of their migration experiences.
