| This presentation investigates the effects of oral corrective feedback in the form of prompts and recasts on L2 vocabulary development. The findings show prompts to be slightly more effective than recasts in learning L2 vocabulary. However, only the former generated significant increases on all dimensional measures of L2 vocabulary acquisition. |
