Reading-time Studies of the MV/RRC Ambiguity Resolution by English Learners in Taiwan

Program Summary
By using a self-paced reading task, this study verified that, like native English speakers, English learners in Taiwan at various English proficiency levels were immediately sensitive to use of syntactic information in the MV/RRC ambiguity resolution. However, syntactic information was not independent of lexical and semantic information.
