| Program Summary |
| This study illustrates the importance and necessity of improving learners’ prosodic production. However, the persisting difficulty in some deviation patterns shows that it may take more efforts and longer time to enable L2 learners to automate the prosodic production. It is expected that with the heightened awareness and adequate practice, L2 learners’ prosodic production will be greatly improved, thereby approaching the (near-)native production in L2 Mandarin Chinese. |
