Partnership with ACTFL: CLEAR recently collaborated with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) to manage their student video podcast contest, “Not Just a Language Class!” This contest was part of the Discover Languages… Discover the World! ( http://www.discoverlanguages.org) national public awareness campaign to build public support for language education. ACTFL is using our Rich Internet Applications… are you? http://ria.clear.msu.edu
CLEAR's summer workshops for 2008 drew participants from over a dozen states and several countries. Look here for more information about the six workshops that were offered, and continue to watch our Professional Development page for updates onworkshops for 2009.
