This cross-platform multimedia program consists of interactive lessons that can be used by French teachers to learn how to teach pronunciation, or by advanced students working independently.
The program uses excerpts from Radio France's news show France Info as the authentic targets for pronunciation. Units include:
* Histoire phonétique du français
* Histoire sociale du français
* Articulation
* Orthographe
* Symboles phonétiques
* Prosodie
* Consonnes
* Voyelles orales
* Voyelles nasales
* Semi-voyelles
* E instable
The units are designed so that students and instructors can work in the order that best fits their needs. Materials include textes thématiques and other examples from France Info, basic text in French with audio narration by native French speakers, exercises for ear training and oral practice, and exercises that allow learners to create and recite texts using target sounds. No knowledge of linguistics is necessary to utilize and benefit from these lessons.
